FRIENDS OF CLIFTON REWARD CLUB

When you sign up to our Friends of Clifton reward club you provide your personal information including your name, email address and telephone.

Any personal information we collect from you will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, GDPR and other applicable laws.

Applicants for Friends of Clifton must be over 18 and resident in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Friends of Clifton is for personal use only and may not be used for any business transaction or purpose.

By joining Friends of Clifton you are agreeing to being contacted by email or telephone by Clifton Nurseries for the purpose of administering the scheme.

Only members who supply an email address will receive copies of all communication and promotions. Members may opt out of email communications using the unsubscribe facility.

Clifton Nurseries reserves the right to change the benefits of Friends of Clifton at any time.

GIFT VOUCHERS

We sell our own Clifton Nurseries gift vouchers at both of our London and Surrey branches. They can also be purchased over the phone by ringing 01932 833866.

Clifton Nurseries gift vouchers can be redeemed instore at the London and Surrey branches of Clifton Nurseries as well as for our Clifton Nurseries garden design, landscaping and gardening services. Please note that Clifton Nurseries gift vouchers are not redeemable in The Café. 

 Clifton Nurseries gift vouchers are only valid when stamped by Clifton Nurseries, are not refundable and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash or vouchers. Clifton Nurseries will not accept liability for any lost, stolen or damaged vouchers. Clifton Nurseries can refuse to accept a voucher as payment if they reasonably suspect the voucher has been tampered or duplicated. 

PLANT GUARANTEE

Here at Clifton Nurseries we are confident in the quality of the plants that we offer. As a result we offer a 1 year guarantee on hardy trees, shrubs and perennials.  Biennials and annuals (plants that naturally do not live for more than one year or typically do not survive an average British winter) are not included in this guarantee. 

Our plant guarantee does not cover plants that have clearly not been watered sufficiently or have been left in their pots for extended periods of time without due care and attention. Our plant guarantee also does not cover damage from out of the ordinary exceptional weather conditions such as extreme heat or unseasonably early or late freezing cold conditions. 

Our plant guarantee does not cover against natural pests and diseases which can affect some plants at any time. For example, Buxus sempervirens (common box) commonly suffers from Buxus Blight (an airborne fungal infection) and Buxus Caterpillar (a pest which eats the leaves). Whilst we ensure that all our Buxus plants are sold in healthy condition, we cannot be responsible for pests and diseases once the plants have left our nursery. 

If you are unhappy with the condition of any plant we have supplied, please take a photograph and email this to us at enquiry@clifton.co.uk with details of when you purchased it. If we agree that it is covered by our plant guarantee, we will willingly supply either a replacement or a refund.

COOKIES

Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored on your computer when you visit some websites. They do not harm your computer and are used to help track your use of the site and to personalise your journey around the website. These cookies can be stored so that if you return to a website, that website server can call the information from the cookies stored on your computer to tailor your experience of the site and make it more enjoyable.

We use cookies to help you use our website more effectively - we do not store personally identifiable information in our cookie data. We also use some carefully selected 3rd party suppliers to help us enhance your online experience (such as Google Analytics) and they will place cookies on your computer for use on our website too.

(2) If you are a Friend of Clifton you can ask us to remove you from the reward club and request no further communication by emailing us at enquiry@clifton.co.uk 

(3) If you have subscribed to our newsletter either through the website or through Friends of Clifton you can unsubscribe from the distribution list at any time using the Unsubscribe button at the bottom of every newsletter. Alternatively, email us at enquiry@clifton.co.uk 

(3) You also have the right to request a copy of any personal information we hold about you. To do this, simply write to us at the following address. A small fee will apply to cover our administration costs and proof of ID such as a copy of your driving licence or a recent utility bill will be required.
