We are looking for a Head Chef to join our friendly and professional kitchen team preparing food for The Café at Clifton Nurseries and private hire events.

Clifton Nurseries is the oldest garden centre in London with The Café at its heart. Set in a beautiful glasshouse with 175 covers of indoor and outdoor seating, we are the bustling hub of the local Little Venice community. We are now ready to develop The Café menu to be more seasonal and restaurant focused, as well as provide event catering for the spaces within the Nursery hired out by our clients.

This position requires a hands-on Head Chef who will lead from the front in a busy kitchen and communicate clearly with The Café Front of House team. You will be an integral part of the team and work closely with the Café and Hospitality Manager. You must have a passion for fresh food, working with like-minded, enthusiastic and skilled professionals in a busy garden centre restaurant in West London.

The Head Chef role itself offers up to 40 hours per week, with a regular working pattern and no split shifts, giving a good work/life balance.

• Diploma of Higher Education (preferred but not essential)

Experience:

• Senior Sous Chef: 2 years (required)
• Sous Chef: 2 years (required)
• Menu development (ideal)
• Food safety level 3 (ideal)
